Paramount mobile patrol vehicle responding in the Toronto GTA
    MOBILE PATROL · ALARM RESPONSE

Mobile Patrol & Alarm Response — Toronto & GTA

When an alarm activates at 3:14 a.m., two things determine the outcome: how long it takes someone to arrive, and whether that person knows what they are looking at when they do. Paramount runs mobile patrol and alarm response across the GTA on both measures — timed attendance, and officers briefed on the specific property before their first shift on it.

Every patrol is logged with GPS-verified checkpoints, every attendance produces a written report the same night, and every officer has a named supervisor reachable at any hour — not a dispatch queue.

    WHY IT MATTERS

What a patrol contract usually gets wrong

Most patrol services are sold on frequency: four passes a night, eight passes a night. Frequency without pattern discipline is close to worthless. A patrol that arrives at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 every night teaches anyone watching exactly when the property is unobserved.

We schedule patrols in randomised windows rather than fixed times, vary the direction and entry point of each pass, and record checkpoint scans so the client can verify the officer physically walked the loading dock rather than idling in the front lot. If a pass is missed, the report says so and explains why.

    ALARM RESPONSE

What actually happens when your alarm goes off

Alarm response is where most providers quietly underperform, because the client is asleep and no one is measuring. Our protocol is fixed and auditable:

    • Activation received and the nearest available unit assigned, with the clock started
    • Exterior perimeter checked first — doors, windows, glass, forced-entry indicators
    • Interior sweep only where safe and authorised; police called where entry is suspected
    • Property secured, or the site held until a keyholder or police arrive
    • Written report with time stamps and photographs issued the same night

The officer does not simply confirm "all clear" and leave. Repeated false activations get flagged back to the client with a cause — a faulty contact, an unlocked rear door, a delivery driver with an old code — because chronic false alarms are a security problem, not an inconvenience.

    REPORTING

Reporting you can hand to a board

Property managers are accountable to owners and boards who want evidence, not reassurance. Every Paramount patrol client receives time-stamped checkpoint data, incident reports with photographs, and a monthly summary identifying recurring issues — the door that keeps being propped, the corner of the garage where activity keeps appearing, the lighting failure nobody reported.

That trend reporting is often more valuable than the patrols themselves. It turns a security line item into a maintenance and liability record you can defend.
